Unfortunately Art Bell decided to retire once more from radio due to personal reasons. We have since replaced the programming. We apologize for the inconvenience. Thank you for tuning into KLZ!

Unfortunately, at this time, Midnight in the Desert will not be picked back up by our station. We apologize for the inconvenience!

I have heard a rumor that KLZ 560 will be picking up Midnight in the Desert once again.
    First is this true?
If so… What is the expected date of return?

I was intrigued with the interview this morning on Wake Up, Feb. 10, 2016. Is there a podcast that I can access to hear Gerald Celente’s comments in their entirety?

Americans are the only people on the planet who have sovereign authority to peacefully modify the conduct of their government through Article V. Article V does not allow State Legislatures to apply for a Constitutional Convention (e.g. ConCon). This flawed assumption by anti Article V groups have paralyzed legislators for 40+ years. Regrettably, today’s Article V proponents have adopted this error and structured their Amendment strategies around it. State Legislatures can direct Congress to convene an AMENDMENT CONVENTION “for proposing amendments” – not a Constitutional Convention. It is the Founders’ way to provide a safe, quick and successful method for State Legislatures to stop encroachment on States Rights and personal liberties.

The Countermand Amendment will not alter our rights and protections in the Constitution. In fact, the Amendment will give the States a tool to protect those unalienable rights that were given to us by God and which all of us hold dear. It will create a healthy balance of governance between the Federal government and the States. The States will become respected partners in government rather than subjects to Federal mandates.

During the last three weeks, we have had extraordinary results for the Countermand Amendment with legislators in SC, TX, NM, UT and AZ. NV and CO were positive meetings and I believe eventually will join us. To date we have 23 sponsored States for the Single Issue Article V Countermand Amendment .

Remember the story of Gideon. He faced, 120,000 Midianites, et al with only 30,000 men. God said you have too many and dwindled him down to “300”. The Lord did not want Israel to claim they won the battle in their own strength. Gideon won the day with Midianites running for their lives with their tails between their legs.

There has never been a team of patriots in America’s history like ours. The Countermand Amendment is the most important constitutional event since the 1787 Convention. We will win this battle for the Lord, our nation, Constitution and families.

” Watch ye, stand fast in the faith, quit you like men, be strong” 1 Corinthian 16:13

“Now also when I am old and grayheaded, O God, forsake me not; until I have shewed thy strength unto this generation, and thy power to every one that is to come.” Psalm 71:18

As a Barber & Uber driver, I have significant influence over the stations and programs that numerous customers are introduced to by way of my selections.
You really need to give us the full 3 hours of Laura Ingraham in the morning, 2 to 3 hours of Steve Curtis before Laura’s show and bring back the live broadcast of Midnight In The Desert.
    Thank You.

    1. N

Thank you for choosing our station while working, we appreciate you exposing clients to KLZ. We have had some movement in the works so you will see more of Steve Curtis and Laura as well. We do what we can with our pieces while structuring the daily line ups in hopes that our listeners are game for what what we bring in. We hope that this will satiate you, as well as our other listeners, so stay tuned! As for Midnight in the Desert, we were unhappy to see Art Bell go, but again, we had to do what was best for the station. Thank you for your feedback, and thank you for listening!

The comment above seems like it may be addressing the concern that brought me here today, but I will still make my comment just to be on the record. I was exceedingly disappointed when the second hour of WakeUp with Steve Curtis was replaced by a financial program. That 7-8:00 hour is drive time for me and it is the one chunk of time I have in the morning to listen without interruption to my favorite programming. Far from being a favorite, financial programming doesn’t even make it onto my list of tolerable listening for any longer than a brief transitional period–in fact it falls below Jimmy Lakey, which is saying something. I discovered your station a few months ago when I was looking for an alternative to the other morning shows and took a liking to Steve’s show (even though I was seriously pained to have to travel along with his conversion to being a Trump supporter–ugh, ugh, ugh). Steve’s guest line-up is generally interesting and I appreciate that his guests are not just a repeat of the same old thing we hear elsewhere (even though I’m miffed that a few of them seem to have fueled the pro-Trump drift). From the perspective of originality Steve’s show is a valuable service, and Steve himself is a likable guy so that helps too. I’m sorry to say that when the second hour was replaced I pretty much stopped listening to the first hour too because my morning routine makes it difficult to pay attention during the first hour and there’s no longer the incentive to maintain continuity between the two segments. After 8am I’m at work with limited opportunities to listen to the radio. So, whatever plans you have in the works, I want to stress that I strongly hope it will include bringing Steve back to that 7-8am slot.

And since others have mentioned Art Bell’s Midnight in the Desert, I’ll just add my 2 cents about that as well. I realize that it was Art’s personal issues and not your doing behind his departure. I was sad to see Art go, and was disappointed by his poor choice for a replacement host. But, since George Noory on Coast-to-Coast AM is even more difficult to listen to, if you ever feel you want to have something in your line-up to compete with C2C I would definitely be in favor of bringing back what remains of MITD. As for Alex Jones, that’s not for me.

Thanks very much for your interest.

I agree with others, wishing you’d put Midnight in The Desert back on! Coast-to-CoastAM has far too many commercials, and it seems plausible you were cutting-into their listenership base; I doubt you even ran MITD for a long enough period for everyone to find it; other than some throwaway advertising quips you threw into the mix after I pointed this out before, I do not think KLZ ever properly marketed this valuable and most unique show. The overnight programming you replaced MITD with is okay, but for alternative-types who listen at night, we crave more interesting stuff to stimulate our already-politically-overloaded brains. I wonder how much you have to pay to run the show, MITD? Did they cut you a deal when Art Bell left Heather as helmswoman? It’s hard to believe your current overnight programming is outdoing the numbers delivered by MITD. PLEASE RECONSIDER, THANKS!

Why not play Alex Jones sometime? Denver is a pretty large market to be without anything of his on the air. I have heard Alex announce his show is really pulling in some impressive numbers in many large metro markets, and in some places the Infowars radio show actually outperformed Limbaugh. It would seem, given KLZ/Crawford’s passion for Christian Truth and American Liberty, playing Alex Jones’ show on KLZ would be a no-brainer. You should consider giving him a try somewhere, I’ll bet your listenership would explode with Jones on your program!

    And, lastly – Michael Savage?

    Thanks, and Godspeed!

Thank you for your insight. We were unhappy to see Art Bell go, but we did what was best for our station. If Art Bell were to return, we might consider picking up Midnight in the Desert, but until then we will continue to air another program. As for your other suggestions, we will take them into consideration for the future, and as always, we certainly appreciate your feedback. Thank you for listening!

What happened to Steve Curtis? I liked his show. There is a money show from 7–8 am (when I’m in the car) and it’s not as interesting as Steve’s show.

    1. N

      Hello Mike,

Steve Curtis is still on air from 6am-7am. Going forward you will hear more of Steve in the morning, so stay tuned in! Thanks for listening!

    1. Natalie

Thank you for your inquiry. It has come to our attention that if you are using the Google Chrome web browser it does not work with the streaming service that we use. We have tried it on Safari, Internet Explorer and Firefox web browsers and those all seem to work fine. Please try using one of those and let us know if you are still having issues. Thank you for listening!

I have noticed that even though Laura Ingraham’s lost hour is advertised as being on at 1 PM, several times each week when I have tried to listen, not Laura’s lost hour but another show is broadcast. Please let me know why that is and if Laura is not going to be on, why is it advertised as being on? Better yet, why can’t her “lost hour” be found and broadcast at 7 AM?

    1. Natalie

We will now broadcast Laura Ingraham’s full 3 hours consecutively starting on Monday March 14th at 8am. We have had some schedule changes but now are set for Monday. Thank you for listening!

  8. Debbie

Yea!! Big fan of the Laura Ingraham radio show and so glad that you will now be broadcasting her full 3 consecutive hours in the morning. Thank you.

  9. Mike Kooken

Please put Laura Ingraham live 7:00 am and dump that lame money show that I hear when I get in the car at 7!

    1. Natalie

Though we appreciate your feedback and listening Mike, we were very happy to have Straight Talk Money join us on KLZ 560! Laura Ingraham can now be heard from 8am-11am Monday through Friday. As always, thank you for listening!

  10. Jerald Street

Can you please put Laura Ingraham on in real time from 7:00 to 10:00 AM daily? Right now you only have two talk show hosts that I listen to. Laura and John Rush who has great shows during the week as well as on Saturday morning.

    1. nwatkins

Thank you for your input Jerald. We do most certainly agree that Laura and John Rush have awesome programming! Laura can be heard 8am-11am Mon-Friday. Thank you for listening!

  11. Ken

This message is for John Rush. You had a guest on your show I believe Weds or Thursday this week–4/20 or 4/21. His message was based on polling data Donald Trump has a 0% chance of beating Hillary in the presidential race. Baloney. I’m sorry this man is either a shill, a planted disillushionist or a moron.
Donald may not be the most polished politician but what he speaks makes sense. Don’t fall for these charlatans.

Besides the Good Lord will put in place the candidate he feels is the person for the time, not the person that seems to be polling higher. If the people of this nation get on their knees and ask forgiveness, the Lord will place the right candidate. If not the Lord will place the wicked person in this position.

    1. nwatkins

The guest you heard was Andy Pete from The Party of Choice. This was a prediction he had. Please stay tuned in for more predictions from Andy! Thank you for listening!
