Writer/Producer
KLZ 560 the Source “The Colorado Conservative” has a very rare opening for a Writer/Producer to work in the Production Department alongside the Sales Team. This position is unique to Crawford Broadcasting stations and requires a creative mind, professional voice-over and sharp audio production skills. Advanced experience with Adobe Audition (or similar software) is required, experience with RCS NEXGEN is preferred and Sales Experience is a plus.
Functions of a KLZ Writer Producer include (but are not limited to):
To collaborate with Sales Team on client meetings
Write commercial copy that sells
Produce commercials using Adobe Audition in our State of the Art facilities
Maintain communication with clients for tracking purposes
Obtain and Load pre-recorded programming into NEXGEN for broadcast
Produce Promos for shows airing on KLZ as assigned
Entering content into the NEXGEN scheduling log
Proficiency with Windows based computer systems and software
Possible responsibilities include:
Handling the KLZ On-line Presence (Website & Social Media updates)
Coordinating KLZ Promotions, attending events, recruiting sales leads
Implement Public Affairs programming and report to corporate.
